Privacy Policy

Reelog is a personal watch-tracking app for movies, TV, and anime. This page explains what we collect, why, and how you stay in control. This is placeholder copy — replace with your final policy before launch.

• Account: email, password (hashed), and the username you pick during onboarding.
• Profile: display name, bio, avatar, and privacy preference (public / unlisted / private).
• Watch activity: diary entries, ratings, likes, lists, follows, and comments you create.
• Feedback: messages you send us through the in-app feedback form.

We don't sell your data. We don't run behavioural ad trackers. We don't need your real name.

• Authentication and hosting: Lovable Cloud / Supabase.
• Movie & TV metadata: The Movie Database (TMDB).
• Anime metadata: AniList.

Poster/backdrop images are loaded from TMDB and AniList CDNs and cached in our database.

Your profile privacy is enforced at the database layer: private profiles are invisible to anyone but you, and unlisted profiles are only visible via direct link. Individual lists carry their own privacy setting.

You can deactivate your account at any time from Settings — your data is preserved but hidden. Permanent deletion is also available from Settings; it removes your profile, diary, lists, likes, and follows, and anonymises comments that live on other users' entries.
